We offer a stand-alone CV writing service. For many clients this is included in their programme.
Writing CVs and cover letters is time-consuming and can be frustrating. We assist individuals from all backgrounds, levels and sectors to produce effective CVs. You may be a new graduate or a senior executive. We start by asking you to send us your current CV and information about what you want the CV for, including samples of jobs you’ll be applying for and the types of organizations which most appeal to you.
We then meet with you or have a telephone discussion with you for to understand your needs more fully and to ensure that we have all the information we need to prepare an initial draft for you. We can also send you some documentation to complete to help you do this, including a form to tell us about some of your key achievements.
You will receive an initial draft CV to review and we will ask you for your comments on this. We will then work with you to improve this so that you have a final CV which you are entirely happy with and which is also well presented. The CV will show how you can add value to potential employers - highlighting your skills and knowledge as well as your interpersonal/ management strengths, all of which you should be able to substantiate at interviews.
We will also help you to produce two cover letters - one aimed at an advertised role and one for a speculative approach.

Coaching for Job Interviews
The impression you make at interview is just as important as your job skills, experience and expertise.
We offer you a ninety minute one-to-one interview coaching session, for which we prepare fully. Video feedback can also be provided. If you complete a career programme with us interview coaching is normally included.
We put emphasis on making sure that you have good content and strong evidence to point to in your responses to questions. We also help you improve how you look and to come across well. Using an actual job you have applied for we prepare questions for you in advance.
We show you how to handle challenging questions and how to demonstrate the energy and enthusiasm which interviewers look for.
To help us prepare you will need to send in the following:
1. Your CV, cover letter, application and anything else which you have submitted for the role;
2. Details of the role (a copy of a job advertisement or a link to an online one will be fine);
3. A summary of where you feel you most need to improve your performance;
4. A list of the questions you find particularly challenging;
5. A note of why you want this job and why you think you are the right person.
