Our consultants

CareerBalance Consultants are experts in offering professional career counselling, career guidance and job hunting support to individuals. We all hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Career Counselling & Coaching, in Human Resource Management or in Occupational Psychology. We are also trained to use various aptitude and psychometric tools.

We are constantly adding to our skills and our understanding of careers and the modern job market through our work with clients and through professional development.

Our own careers have been varied and interesting. Ranging from working in large organisations to operating as freelance consultants. We have experienced many of the issues which you may be facing - significant career changes, redundancy, coping with over-demanding jobs, re-qualifying, and returning to work after a career break.

Collectively our career experience includes banking, insurance and financial services, the legal profession, management consultancy, IT, publishing, teaching, HR and training, sales, marketing and public relations. We understand the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors.

We have assisted hundreds of individuals over the past seven years and our work gives us a unique insight into a huge range of careers and organisations. Because we are a small team we are careful of our reputation and put a lot of effort into getting the best results for each and every client we work with. Many of our clients now come to us by recommendation.
