I draw on a wide range of tools and experience when working with clients, focusing on what it is that they wish to achieve. My approach is tailored to the individual, as each client brings his or her own specific strengths, needs, goals and agenda.
I have a particular interest in helping people to address the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that are holding them back in their life or career. For example, clients have successfully worked on such issues as confidence, anger, communication, personal impact, and relationships. By understanding more about what we do and how we do it, we can create new options and choices, work round problems and change our mindset to help achieve our goals.
Given my experience of the design of recruitment processes I am also well placed to coach clients on interview practice and preparation for assessment centres.
I am a chartered psychologist and have over 25 years of experience as a management consultant and coach.
I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Special Group for Coaching Psychology. I have recently been commission to author a chapter for a book on coaching in family businesses.
